Andy Phillips 

He has been entertaining crowds for years with his diverse musical background. Starting out at the tender age of fifteen, he was first introduced to the Steelpan in his native Trinidad & Tobago through the influence of his older brothers who also played the instrument. Beginning with the steel Orchestra, “Starlift”. Andy then went on to be one of the founding members of the most innovative and known steel orchestra in Trinidad, “Phase II Pan Groove.” He then played with “Jewel 22.”

His love for music would take him around the globe on a musical journey to such places as Europe, Latin America, Canada, the United States of America (playing at Madison Square Gardens with Starlift) and many of the islands of the Caribbean. In Europe, Andy focused his attention on the bass guitar, under the mentoring of Clive Charman, bassist for Jeff Beck and Robert Bailey of Osibisa. While in London, England, Andy was given the opportunity to preform for local networks ITV and BBC and play with such talents as Allan White (drummer from YES) and vocalist Paul Corder (who is produced by Roger Daugherty). Andy himself formed the group “Roots” and toured the continent extensively, while based in Zurich.

Silhouettes SteelBand Combo will take you on a journey through all genres of music in a way that you have never experienced before. Specializing in traditional and modern day Caribbean music, their sound appeals to connoisseurs of all generations.

Featuring sounds of the Steel Pan, the band will on occasion combine their  sound with various instruments from lead vocals to acoustic guitar to provide a whole new sound. The combo’s talented membership can bring any musical compilation or anthology to life.

As the ensemble makes it’s mark on the entertainment scene, the band can vary in size based on the desires of each client. The band provides musical entertainment for clients and events of all sizes. In her spare time Chantal enjoys volunteering at the Credit Valley Hospital playing in the NICU for the premature babies. The harp has been scientifically proven to benefit preemies. This is a unique way that Chantal is able to give back to her community.

Dave Brown “The Gospel Trumpet Player” has become a well known musician and worship leader in the gospel music community. His dynamic and soulful style of trumpet playing includes elements of of Contemporary Christian, traditional Gospel and gospel jazz styles. In addition to playing the trumpet, Dave is also a singer who often leads worship while playing his trumpet.

The clear and distinctive sound of Dave’s trumpet is becoming more and more recognizable on the the international stage as God has opened doors for him to minister at various high profile concert venues, churches and conferences across the USA, Canada and the Carribbean.

During his years of ministry, Dave has had the opportunity to share the stage with many notable worship artists including, Alvin Slaughter, Ron Kenoly, Martha Munizzi. Phil Driscoll, Fred Hammond, CeCe Winans as well as Shirley Ceasar, Yolanda Adams and the Toronto Mass Choir just to name a few.

Hardcore is one of or the best backing bands in Toronto. The list of top name artist they have worked with is to large to mention. The band is well know and respect in the industry for many years. Each member of the band could probably tell you a story of the best concert in the world. They have all traveled and have a combine experience covering over 50 years.

With that said they can play many types of genres to rock the crowd, Toronto is honored to have Hardcore as one of their own.

Born and raised in Ottawa Ontario Canada, Mellow Dee (Dwight Roan Grant) has been performing since the age of 5. His ability to play piano and sing is always a crowd pleaser. A unique male vocalist with incredible range keeps you warm throughout a whole show. Being a lover of Jazz, Gospel and Soul music Mellow Dee puts these three genres into one sound. Some would call him a soul/crooner much to the comparison of John Legend and Jamie Foxx. Now being a part of the Canadian music scene for many years

A violinist from a young age, Jenna Rennae pursued classical training at Wilfrid Laurier University, where she studied with the Penderecki String Quartet. In addition to her classical training, she is fluent in celtic fiddling, pop hits, Bollywood, bluegrass, and jazz styles. On the side, she teaches world music workshops in schools and composes folk music on a loop station.

BLuSouL is ready to take the world of live entertainment by storm. They are often compared to the likes of the original Temptations, Four Tops and Boyz II Men, to name a few. With a musical repertoire that spans over 400 songs, BLuSouL has quickly become Canada’s number one Motown, R&B and Soul performance group.

Bubba, Tristan, Tj and Edward are the core members of BLuSouL. These young men have already accomplished numerous milestones in their careers from performing with the best in R&B and Hip Hop to receiving individual awards and nominations for top performances in Canada, the US and South America.

Jazz, Corporate, and Wedding Singer:

Singer-songwriter Belinda Brady was born in Kingston, Jamaica. Belinda was surrounded by music, as it was a central part of her family. Carl Brady, Belinda’s father was one of the original members of the iconic Byron Lee and the Dragonaires, one of the Caribbean’s longest running calypso/soca acts. During her career, Belinda has performed as a background vocalist and dancer for internationally renowned Reggae artist Shaggy and Julian Marley, as well as Soca star Denyse Plummer.

Belinda is a passionate and energetic performer, who is a two-time Juno nominee for her hit singles “Flex” (1998) and “Gifted Man” (distributed in 2003 by EMI on the Master T Reggae Vibes Compilation). Belinda has also won the Canadian Urban Music Award for “Too Late” (1999) for best R&B single. She has enjoyed much commercial success across Canada and the Caribbean with her singles “Want Something”, “Free Your Mind” (produced by legendary duo Sly & Robbie), and “I Cried”, a hit on mainstream radio and the video was in medium rotation on Much More Music. Belinda has also worked with Canadian Idol judge Farley Flex who managed her for a number of years.

For more than a decade, Belinda has been active on the live performance circuit-delivering her energetic and passionate performances from jazz, pop, reggae and rnb at festivals, corporate functions, weddings and hotels in North America, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean

Belinda has a contemporary approach to song writing and vocal presentations. The musical genres that have inspired her artistry, includes Pop, Folk, R&B, Jazz, Reggae and Electronic music. Belinda describes her style as a “Marcia Griffiths meets Sade blended in with some, Natale Cole, Alanis Morissette, Joni Mitchell and India Arie.”
